How to share Hik-Connect to another device using Qr code

Steps for the Sharer (Primary Device)

  1. Open the Hik-Connect app on your phone.
  2. Find the device you want to share on your device list.
  3. Tap the share icon (or three dots/swipe left on the device name) and select Share Device.
  4. Choose the option to share via QR code.
  5. Select the specific devices or camera channels you want to share.
  6. Set the permissions for what the other user is allowed to do (like PTZ control or playback).
  7. Tap Next or proceed to display a QR code on your scree

Steps for the Recipient (Secondary Device)

  1. Open the Hik-Connect app on the second device and log into their account.
  2. Tap the plus sign (+) icon on the top right of the screen.
  3. Select Scan QR code and use the camera to scan the QR code displayed on the primary user’s phone.
  4. Tap Accept to immediately complete the sharing process
